Of course, His Malignancy The Mad King says he "doesn't believe" his own government's inter-agency report as he actively tries with other deniers to discredit it. Recall the present occupant in the Oval Office believes he is "highly intelligent"? Chris Hayes over at MSNBC had an enlightening segment on exactly what His Malignancy's intelligence on climate change is, see it HERE but be prepared in case you fall down laughing. If you can still stomach more of The Mad King's.......well, madness, checkout the New York Times piece titled "How Trump Is Ensuring That Greenhouse Gas Emissions Will Rise". Naturally His Malignancy continues on with the privatization of public lands as part of his willful disregard for all the emissions and pollution associated with fossil fool drilling. We guess it goes without saying part of his plan is "drill, baby drill" in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. His push for "energy dominance" is, in reality, a highly disastrous effort at making the nation the worst climate criminal on the planet. Did we mention he's all in for injuring whales too?
This week's Fool-on-the-Hill also concerns that National Climate Assessment and another of The Mad King's enablers in the Repugnican party. Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) has called for innovation to deal with climate change. He said the U.S. needs to “participate in a long-term conversation about how you get to innovation, and it’s going to need to be a conversation again that doesn’t start with alarmism”. Don't be alarmed, folks. Nothing to see here. Move along.
