This week's scary Fool-on-the-Hill is Utah Repugnican Sen. Mike Lee, who tested positive for Covid-19 less than two weeks ago, spoke unmasked in person for the first day of Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s stolen Supreme Court seat confirmation hearings. Ahead of the hearing, Democrats called on Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham to require coronavirus testing for senators attending the hearing but the South Carolina Repugnican rejected those requests. So maybe that's two fools.
On to the most frightening monster who ever lurked about in The Peoples' House. Yes, it's His Malignancy The Mad King, the ghoul who enables heavily armed domestic terrorists here in the Homeland, who lies constantly about the COVID pandemic (and everything else you can think of), who refuses to accept the peaceful transition of power should he lose the election, whose enablers gut long established regulations meant to protect us, whose agenda of “energy dominance, has already opened millions of acres of federal land across the Western U.S. to toxic energy extraction and whose separation of children from their parents at the southern border is beyond monstrous. The list goes on but surely The Peoples' House is now The F'ing House of Horrors.
Did we mention at the top of the show that "It's the Climate Crisis, Stupid!"? Talk about horror shows. Dealing with monsters like The Mad King and his enablers is bad enough but dealing with climate chaos is.....well, HUGE. Truth be known, OUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE! Our friends at Grist have cobbled together some powerful horror show ads like THIS in the ongoing effort to wake up everyone. The alarm bells are ringing. Get up, Stand up, Don't give up the fight, OK?
