The Moon River Enviro Show

Greetings Earthlings. It’s the Harvest or Hunters’ Moon and Andrea Donlon, River Steward for the Connecticut River Watershed Council joins us to talk rivers, sooooo it’s the Moon River Enviro Show. Get it? Moon? River? (sorry). We’ll also hear from Darth Cheney in-person! Well, actually its an impersonation from none other than Jim Ward, Voice Deity on the Stephanie Miller Show. As always we’ll checkout the news in the Echo Chamber and burden you with some sanctimonious Quote of the Week, but first it’s time for.......Revenge of the Critters! Chipmunk Attacks! Run for your life!!

In the Enviro Show Echo Chamber we return to coal country for a tale of political chicanery. Grampy McSame and Franken Barbie’s minions screw up in the service of King Coal. Also from Grist: good news for the critters in Sumatra...............finally! >. O, did we forget to mention the Galactic Federation is coming today?

Sorry, Glen's away so you're on your own for the Bush Countdown Clock. He took it with him so he won't oversleep. But we DO have Darth Cheney! And this little video diddy about FrankenBarbie:

The Enviro Show Quote of the Week comes from Naomi Wolf: “Yes, the situation is dire. But history shows that when an army of citizens, supported by even a vestige of civil society, believes in liberty -- in the psychological space that is "America" -- no power on earth can ultimately suppress them.”

"Head of the River" by Elliot Bronson from "101 Subtle Ways" takes us to our interview with Andrea Donlon, River Steward for the Connecticut River Watershed Council.
