The Water is NOT a Commodity Enviro Show

Greetings Earthlings. We’re still strapped to the torturous water wheel here on the Enviro Show. The issue just keeps goin’ round ‘n round. Tuesday night we look at what on Earth happened to water! How did it go from streams you could drink out of to stolen tap water in poisonous plastic bottles?? We’ll be getting call-ins from Miles Maiden, founder of Hydro-Photon, talking about water purity; and once again Amherst resident, David Kroodsma files another report from the Ride for Climate. Also, we’ll go on about the big public meeting last week in Montague on the potential Nestle corporate water grab. But first, it’s time for....Revenge of the Critters! You think the Repugnicans are dumping on you? Check this out: The GOP mascot literally dumps on its keeper. It’s a Karl Rove bailout special!!

The Nestle/Montague Plain potential water grab is creating a bit of dialogue on the MontagueMA website. We’ll do a reportback from last Thursday’s Public Meeting at the Montague Grange and some more serious Nestle corporado bashing. What do you think they pay us for here??

On the Enviro Show Echo Chamber: We read Saturday’s NY Times editorial on public water supplies. Also: Fish trump dam in Oregon. And, Leonardo DiCaprio’s 11th Hour picks up rave reviews. The film premiers in Boston on August 24th. More info here. Soooo, climate crisis and water wars, there seems to be a connection. SURPRIZE! We'll read an excerpt from the Washington Post.

Then we move-on to our call-ins from Miles Maiden and David Kroodsma and some general grousing about water quality and the state of the world. Before you get too sick of all our kevetching, hopefully, we'll escape to the Bus Stop Billboard:
